The 24th Annual Gemini Awards concluded as the final 17 awards were handed out during the broadcast gala event in Calgary, Alberta, on November 14. Congratulations to Alberta’s own Seven 24 Films on winning the Gemini for best dramatic mini-series for their production, Burn Up.
This win follows Alberta’s two other wins during the industry galas in Toronto on October 19 and 20 that saw the program X-Weighted win for best general/human interest series and the production Everest take home the award for best sound in a dramatic program.
