The new guidelines for funding for film, television and digital media production in Alberta are now available online at http://culture.alberta.ca/multimediafund/default.aspx.

The name of the fund has been changed to the Alberta Multimedia Development Fund (AMDF) to more accurately reflect the scope of the fund and the changes implemented. As was previously announced, modifications include the removal of a broadcast license requirement as well as four new grant options that encourage digital media productions, support professional and project development, facilitate export opportunities for industry members and encourage the production of Alberta’s stories.
